"It is not enough to be an upright man, we must be seen to be one; society does not exist on moral ideas only"

Oh what a sad state our society has reached.

At this point are we even capable of calling ourselves a society. With so much access to information, we have lost who we are. We have become slaves to our phones and the narrative that has been presented to us. Being bombarded by pictures, information and half the time not realising that we have allowed ourselves to become brainwashed.

For years, traditions are what kept us in check. We believed in something, we strived and did our best to hold up the traditions of the past because we understood their meaning. We no longer do that anymore, we now view those traditions as being stupid or not important at all.

In doing so we have demolished the moral fibre that kept us surviving for so many generations, that granted us the strength that we so deeply lack nowadays.

Our society has been degraded to the point where we no longer are able to function as such, we throw around terminologies (excuses to make us feel better) such as self-preservation, protecting our energy. These are nothing more that excuses to be selfish. I'm all for looking after yourself and controlling what you allow in but not at the expense of your fellow man kind.

I accept that everyone is geared up to be the moral compass and fibre that hold society/communities together but its about time that those who are, finally stand up and assume their roles.

At the current rate what are we leaving behind for future generations......Definitely nothing compared to the structures, traditions and societies that were left behind for us.
